:- 5.0 out of 5 stars from The old one! -- Outstanding Debut Novel!!!!!! : This book is so very good that it should be on everyone's "to read" list. I loved this love story. It flowed like silk and grabbed me like a magnet. Gabriella is a well known dancer who now owns a few dance studios. She has never had a really loving relationship. She is known to the world as being a bit of an ice queen but is anything but that in her private life. Bailey is an auto mechanic who also never had the "perfect" relationship. She just happened to be in the way of an out of control auto in which Gabz is a passenger. So, now for the rest of the story. What begins as a "guilt trip" for Gabz ends up as something so beautiful and heartwarming. This is pretty much an opposites attract story. There is just a little bit of drama and a little bit of angst-- enough to keep the story going and myself turning those pages. Theirs is such a remarkable story and is told with so much humor and so much love. I ended up fascinated by these two women. By time I finished this book I couldn't decide which one was my favorite as they were both special in their own way. The epilogue? Oh, my!!! The epilogue!!!!! I highly recommend this book if you want a happy heart. Thank you very much, Elle, for sharing your words with the rest of us. I am very much looking forward to more so please keep writing.. - 4.0 out of 5 stars from KLH -- Cute romance : This was a pretty good age gap, celebrity romance. I liked the premise and the two main characters, Bailey and Gabriella. I could see a couple of plot devices coming, but it didn’t lessen my enjoyment of the book. The meetings with Bailey’s friends were fun, especially with the crush one friend had on Gabriella. - 5.0 out of 5 stars from Ree Soto -- TO ELLE; JUST WOW!!! : For a first solo book, this one was a "doozy"! I was totally absorbed into this story from the first page. The story was engaging and different from any others I'd read in quite a while. The theme was one I hadn't read about before. As I've never been much of a dancer, it surprised me how deeply I got into Bailey's efforts to surprise her love. Thank you for giving of your talent and imagination. Its an unlikely plot the meeting between a TV star and a nmechanic. Its exceedingly unlikely but I guess it could happen. Lovely twists and turns and an age gap romance. Throwbin a billion as well. Both Bailey and Gabriela are warm, loving women... although you couldn't really tell at first, as Bailey is a mechanic in a "mans" world, so she has to be pretty forthright and Gabriela has a "frosty" image she cultivates for TV. It was so brilliant,so glad it was set in UK and a story with a age gap. The characters were brilliant and as your reading you are set in the zone.
